Adrian J. Ivinson, PhD
Trained as a geneticist, Dr. Ivinson is an experienced administrator and advocate for disease-focused research. From 2001 to 2013 he was the founding Director of the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center—a cross-institutional, translational research program to understand and treat major neurological diseases. From 1993-2000 he held a number of leadership positions at the Nature Publishing Group, including Editor (in-Chief) of Nature Medicine and Publisher of the Nature monthly journals. The common thread throughout his research and administrative career is building and nurturing highly collaborative approaches to translational biomedical research.
